WHAT'S HAPPENING
BOOK WEEK
Thursday 22nd October will be our dress-up day for Book Week 2020.
This years events will look a little different to previous years, there will be no whole school parade, it will be more of a class room event/celebration this year. Unfortunately parents are still not able to come on the school grounds. We will be sure to take heaps of pictures to share with everyone in our newsletter and on social media
We can't wait to see what wonderful creations you all come up with this year!!
GRADE 5/6
Warmer days are here and our grade 5/6's have a few more P.E sessions for athletics in the coming weeks. Our classrooms teachers would be very grateful if you could have a chat to your kids about wearing deodorant and perhaps pop a roll-on deodorant in their school bag.
BOOK CLUB
Book club catalogues will be sent home with students on Monday 12th October and orders are due back by Monday 26th October.

FACE COVERINGS
Keep safe. Keep Vigilant.
Wear your face mask properly.
Following the recent announcement that face coverings will be mandatory for all Victorians from Monday 3rd August, we can share the following advice from DET. This information will be updated if we are advised of any change.
Primary students who attend primary school will NOT be required to wear a face covering. Students who are aged 12 or over by Year 6 will NOT be required to wear face coverings. The Victorian Chief Health Officer has advised that it is not practical to require some primary school students to wear face coverings while others are not required to.
Teachers and Education Support Staff
Teachers and education support staff will not be required to wear face coverings while teaching, but those who wish to do so, can. Teachers should wear face coverings in other areas of the school when not teaching (for example, in the staff room, on yard duty and when providing first aid or taking temperatures), and when travelling to and from school.
Parents and Carers
Consistent with all those 12 and over, parents/carers will be required to wear face coverings whenever they leave the house, including for school drop off and pick up. If they are travelling in a car alone, or only with members of their household, they do not need to wear a mask.
