Congratulations to all of our talented students who have grown and developed creatively during this term. They have contributed so much and their work inspires me. I’m sure you’ll agree based on the below images that there is much to celebrate. Congratulations also to our wonderful team of Art teachers, Ms McKenzie, Mr Robinson, Mr Ryan and Ms Thorson who have nurtured their students with such dedication and skill. Art the beginning of term 4 we also welcome a new domain member, Ms Ilona Kiss, who will take on some of the classes from Yrs. 7&8. Wishing you all a wonderful break from the Art domain.

Year 7 Art

Students were introduced to a Digital Drawing task using sketchpad and photoshop. This was a first for many students in the area of ‘digital art’.

Students are busy in the process of building and glazing their animal inspired ceramic pinch pots!

Year 8 Art

Students are finalising their printmaking unit. In this unit, students were introduced to relief printing technique, and developed skills in planning and producing a print in relation to a theme.
