JUNIOR EXCURSION TO MYUNA FARM

On Tuesday, the Preps, 1s and 2s ventured out to Myuna Farm. We started the day with a farm show, learning about different farmyard animals and we even got to milk a goat! Later we split off into our year groups and completed different farm workshops.

We took a train ride out to the wetlands and admired the different animals along the way. We explored the nursery, where we were able to cuddle guinea pigs, lambs and goats. The children thoroughly enjoyed our ‘paddock feed’ workshop, where they were able to feed sheep, cows, goats and lots of lambs.

A lot of children were quite apprehensive to begin with, but it was so great to see children facing their fears and giving things a go as the day progressed!

What an awesome day for our juniors and we are so proud of how polite and enthusiastic they all were!
