DEADLY FUTURES

Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Student Conference 2022

Wyndham College students were given the opportunity to attend the Deadly Futures Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Student Conference 2022, held at Western Sydney University, Nirimba Campus.

Students listened to inspirational and educational stories from keynote speaker Amelia Corr, who also delivered the Acknowledgment to Country in traditional Indigenous Dialect.

Further sessions followed, with information relating to 'Pathways to Dreaming' at WSU and a careers presentation from the Australian Defence Force. 

The students had a great day and gained a lot of valuable information.
