Brisbane Clinics Update
Hello friends and families,
In this month's newsletter we have some exciting news about two of our senior team members, a wonderful article about playdough by senior Occupational Therapist and Practice Principal Christine Boers (it never gets old!) and we also introduce you to our Client Care Team - get started on your therapy journey today without delay.
Congratulations Fanoula and Kimberlee
Paediatric counselling and psychological services are offered by Early Start Australia in four of our Queensland clinics. We are fortunate to have an ever growing team of psychologists and mental health professionals offering a range of therapy and assessment services across the southeast Queensland region. We are passionate about high quality, evidence based practice, delivered by practitioners who are well supported and well-resourced. To support our team to continue to achieve the standard of practice our clients have come to expect, we have appointed Fanoula Tsakrios as QLD Psychology Services Advisor. Fanoula is a Senior Registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor with extensive experience in paediatrics. Fanoula continues in the role of Practice Principal, Carina and she will now also support Early Start Australia's mental health practitioners across all QLD clinics offering psychological services.
At our Strathpine clinic, we are excited to announce that Team Leader Kimberlee Drummond has stepped into the role of Practice Principal, Strathpine. Kimberlee is an experienced senior Occupational Therapist who has been with Early Start Australia for four years! During this time, Kimberlee has helped hundreds of families across the region, and she is passionate about early intervention, giving kids their best start to life and supporting the community in which she lives and works.
We are very grateful here at Early Start Australia to have these incredible women leading our teams.

We know that calling around clinics to find a therapist with availability can be time consuming and stressful. Being placed on hold and waiting forever is also frustrating. Introducing - our Client Care Team!

Call our Client Care Team on 1300 372 439 and they will connect you with a therapist that fits your needs and who can see you at a time and place that works for you. The Client Care Team are Early Start Australia employees, currently working within our existing clinics, so you'll be talking to a friendly, experienced and highly skilled member of our team.
You can still call our clinics directly at any time on our usual phone numbers. These are listed on the Contact Us page in this newsletter and on our website.

Upcoming Public Holidays (Clinics Closed)
Christmas closure -We will be closed from 21 December 2022 to 6 January 2023 inclusive. There will be no therapy sessions occurring during this time. Please speak with your therapist about your therapy plan for the remainder of 2022 and over the summer holidays during your next appointment.

At Early Start Australia (ESA) our therapists provide therapy to children and young adults with developmental delays including autism spectrum disorder. Our therapists focus on all important life skills such as language development, and development of motor, cognitive, social, play and emotional skills. We also offer assessment services to assist with NDIS access and reviews, and diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, learning disorders, speech/ language disorders, intellectual disability, and other diagnosable conditions.
We are a registered NDIS provider.
ESA now has six clinics in the Greater Brisbane region - all offering both in-clinic, mobile and telehealth services including Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology.
