Volunteer + Bake
Yes! Both...
It takes a WHOLE parent community to run our fun and sustainable event. Contribute & meet new parents beyond your kid's year and social circle. Your children will be proud of you up there helping out too!
Minimum 2 hours per family, options start from before the event on Thursday (10/11) over the whole Art4All weekend. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm, have some fun and help us make it happen.
There's so much to choose from. Dancing with kids and jelly fish, manage cutlery and a dishwasher, tonging sausages, selling art, pulling bins, applying face paint, counting pottery, serving cakes or wine, making dream catchers...
The list is long, and it all needs to be filled!
For the sweet tooth
We need cakes! We need slices! We need whatever it is that you like to bake.
So don’t feel intimidated… whatever you can bake, we will love and sell to raise money for our school!
Love a bit of savoury?
Then we need your best frittata! Or sausage rolls, or vegetarian delights.
If you're not a baker, we also need big simple salads to serve with our savouries in the cafe on Saturday and Sunday. Let us know what you're more comfortable with!
Email corrin@workplayhouse.com.au and tell her what floats your boat (or ask Corrin what is needed) and we will email you a few weeks prior.
Keeping it sustainable
In-line with our sustainability focus, we ask you bring your items in a re-usable container, or on a platter/cake/serving plate that we can borrow for the day (and you can pick it up later or the following day).
We still need a volunteer to manage (not cook) the Sunday hot food stalls. It will be a matter of directing volunteers and just keeping an eye on things on the day (Sunday). No experience necessary!
Saturday/Sunday Art4All Cafe – round up a couple of friends and do it together and share the load. Saturday is the not so busy day, and Sunday is flat chat.
You'll have the volunteers coming in. All you need to do is manage the volunteers around serving cakes, plunger coffee, tea, and some quiches in a pie warmer and a side salad... go on, you know you want to ; )
