The Great Lee St Fete

THE GREAT LEE STREET FETE RETURNS FOR 2023!
We are excited to let you know that the most beloved event of the year will return on
Sunday March 26th 2023!
For those who new to our school in the past few years, the Lee Street Fete is an annual community event that is celebrated by all of Carlton North. With food stalls and bar, craft, plants and second-hand items for sale, live performances, and heaps of games and rides – it is both an important fundraiser for the school and an awesome community event – and most important, it is number one BEST DAY OF THE YEAR for the Lee Street kids!
As many of the current Fete Crew are at the end of their children’s primary school tenure, we are looking for new people to help breathe life back into the fete and make it anew for our current school community.
Getting involved in helping with the fete is one of the best ways you can help our school. It is also an awesome way to get to know other families and build community.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
- Complete our SURVEY! We’d love to hear what you’d like the fete to be in 2023:

- Come to our first meeting! Monday 24th October 6pm at the Great Northern Hotel. (It will be in the meeting room). Hear all about what is involved with the fete.
- We need A NEW FETE CO-ORDINATOR (or more than one) to co-ordinate the fete.
This would suit someone who is interested in project or events management and happy to co-ordinate an enthusiastic team of helpers. It would be great to do with a friend if two people want to put their hands up. Please don’t be daunted! The role will come with close mentorship and encouragement from the current fete crew and an extensive project management database with everything you need so know about running a fete.
- We’d also love to hear from anyone with logistics or food and beverage experience or interest in running these important aspects of the fete.
- GRAB A FRIEND AND RUN A STALL! We’d love to help you with this.
