Reading Eggs
- ABC Reading Eggs makes learning to read interesting and engaging for kids, with great online reading games and activities.
Kids A-Z
- Kids A-Z is an interactive online portal that contains differentiated eBooks and eResources students access online using a computer or mobile devices.
- Kids A-Z develops comprehension with corresponding quizzes.
- Kids A-Z promotes close reading and an essential understanding of the text.
These apps can be used on your child’s iPad to support your child’s learning at home. They can also help to focus your child’s use of their iPad in a positive way.
The following booklet, “Literacy and Numeracy Tips to Help your Child” gives some other wonderful suggestions of how to incorporate relevant Literacy and Numeracy learning at home. Many of these methods and contexts help your child to understand the relevance of what they are learning at school in their lives beyond the classroom.
