North West Careers Expo
This week has seen students in Years 10, 11 and 12 attend the North West Careers Expo at the TRECC. With over seventy exhibitors, our students were among about two thousand from the region to see what course and career options are available both in Tamworth and beyond. There were local employers, universities, colleges, accommodation providers, TAFE and much more.
Careers Activities Beyond the School
It is pleasing to see that many of our students are taking up opportunities that are mentioned in Careers Alert emails, notifications from JobJump, morning notices, the McCarthy Careers Facebook page and posters. In the recent holidays, several students attended talks on architecture at Bond University, the CSU My Day program on Criminology at Bathurst, as well as some students visiting media colleges and attending other events at universities or planning to do so in the next few weeks.
JobJump
Parents who wish to know what is available and how to access information are advised to register with JobJump through the school's account.
