Year 12: VCE

Our 2018 Year 12s will be a special group for a number of reasons, including the fact that they will be the last Preshil students to participate in the VCE.

We would like to warmly welcome them to their last year of schooling. They may have to work hard, but it can be very satisfying to write, analyse, make and create pieces which combine what they have learnt with their own ideas. It can be a year where they mature and learn some important things about themselves: their passions, their anxieties, how they deal with stress to name just a few.

Kris Austin will deal with organisational matters as well as be a compassionate listener when students have concerns; Bronte Howell has put together an excellent careers resource centre and she will maintain contact with each individual student over the year to give advice and help them work out what they want to do and the next steps they need to take to make it happen; and Clare Coman is our student wellbeing coordinator and always happy to speak with students about any concerns they may have.

Attendance 

VCE students MUST attend a minimum of 80% each semester to pass their subjects.

Please remember that students need to sign in/out through the office if they arrive at school after Period 1 has started or leave before their last class of the day.

Year 12 hoodies

A committee of students has designed and organised the 2018 hoodie. It is not too late to order one if students haven't already done so. Please come to the office to choose your size. 

Student ID cards

Photos will take place for Year 12 students on Thursday 15 February. Students need to be at school at 9am on that day if they would like individual, group or ID photos taken.
