Notice from CommBank School Banking

The health, safety and wellbeing of our communities and our people is our first priority. Due to the rapidly developing situation with coronavirus, School Banking has been temporarily paused from 20 March 2020 until the start of Term 2. Please don’t bring your deposit book with your weekly banking into school and we will notify you when banking will recommence.

‘Captain Gummys’ and ‘Hogs Breath’ for donating to LPS PFA - our PFA team sends out heaps and heaps of requests for donations at the beginning of every year. We are always well supported every year by local businesses. We trust that you will return the support by using / visiting them if an opportunity arises.

Sentral Absences

It is a DET requirement that all student absences are explained by a parent/guardian. This can be done by logging into your Sentral account and replying to any unexplained absence notification you have received from the office. If your child/ren are going to be absent please log the absence before 9 am.

CSEF

The CSEF is an annual payment to the school to be used towards camps, sports and/or excursion expenses.

Applications for 2020 are now open and will close on 26 June (end of Term 2). For concession card holders CSEF eligibility will be subject to the parent/legal guardian's concession card being successfully validated with Centrelink. CSEF application forms can be collected from the school office.

Sentral

If you have not registered an account with Sentral please contact the office for your access key details. If you need to reset your password or are experiencing any issues with Sentral please notify the office for support. If you would like Sentral set up on your phone please come into the office for assistance.

The School Colour Explosion™ Run is tomorrow!

The event times are as follows: (we have changed some of the times due to the hot weather predicted)

Prep – 2: 10:00 – 10:45am.

Year 3- 6: 11:45 – 12:30pm

A reminder also that due to the current regulations around crowds, parents are unable to attend the event.

Mr Suter will be filming the run and will post onto social media ASAP.

Prep – 2 students can wear their white t-shirt to school and change into their school uniform after the event.

3 – 6 students can wear their school uniform to school and change into their white t-shirt before their event, or wear their white T-shirt underneath their school polo top of a quick change!

Students who are not participating have been allocated a buddy grade to go to during the event.

Please email your child’s classroom teacher if you do not wish your child to go through the colour power during the run, We will have a separate lane for them to follow near the colour spray.

Our wonderful staff will be spraying the students and will aim below the shoulders as best as possible. Each participating student will be given glasses for eye protection.

It’s going to be a great event!
