It has been a typically busy week at Alvie PS particularly with the Yr 3s and Yr 5s undertaking NAPLAN. There is an enormous amount of 'behind the scenes' work done in preparation and implementation of NAPLAN so it is timely to thank Mr Lee and Mr Smith for their input into this process. 

Polwarth Sports

This Thursday is one of Alvie's highlights of the year, the Polwarth Sports. We'd love to see you and your extended family there to help support us 

Harmony Day

This week we celebrate Harmony Week at school. At Alvie PS we pride ourselves on showing respect and care to everyone. All students are encouraged to wear orange to school on Friday (24th March) to promote inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. 

Personal Belongings

We've had a number of personal belongings make their way to school in the past few weeks. At times these can become distracting for the student and the classroom environment. Where possible, please attempt to keep all personal items at home.
