GOLDSTEIN HOUSE THEME DAY

Friday 31st March

Dear parents, caregivers and students, 

On the 31st of march, the Goldstein house theme day will be running. In the spirit of what Vida Goldstein stood for, the theme for the day will be "influential women throughout history".

Please remember this is a theme day with a specific focus, not simply a casual clothes day. 

You can either dress as an influential woman, or something relating to an influential woman. We strongly encourage everyone to participate in the theme day and the learning opportunities around women's rights historically and in society currently. 

The charity we will be supporting with donations from this day is the YWCA. 

An amazing organisation doing positive and essential work housing and running programs to support vulnerable women.

Instead of gold coin donations, we will be making the process easier by collecting donations through a Compass event before the day. 

There will also be events happening on the day such as music performances, Kahoot in the library and an inter-house sport tournament - students will have seen these in emails from Goldstein House Leaders. There will also be prizes for best-dressed students on the day.
