Year 5 & 6

Anna Kelly & Laura Courtenay

Throughout the term, Stage Three have had the opportunity to work with their teachers on STEM tasks relating to our science unit Living World. They have explored the adaptations of different animals and the ways they move, obtain energy, and protect themselves from predators. Students then applied their new knowledge and skills in a design task. This Tuesday, 21st March, our STEM day started with an incursion from the Dragon Training Mobile Reptile Show. After this we spent the rest of the day creating unique creatures that the students had designed with specific adaptations. More information is to come about a Showcase Day we will host next term for parents and friends to see the students work. Have a peek at what they have created below.
