Physical Education

Class 2/3 with Steph this week played Frogs and Crocodiles.  Crocodiles had a red sash on and had to capture (eat) the frogs as they jumped from lily pad to lily pad with two feet.....sounds easy, but remembering to use both legs/feet simultanously to leap can be trickier than you think.  Our bodies can naturally want to take off on one leg while landing on the opposite leg.  Remembering this rule while avoiding crocodiles and continually moving to a lily pad that is unoccupied, only one frog per lily pad, and not falling in the water is a lot.  Continuing to practise using gross motor skills is important as we grow.

Regional Swimming

Congratulations to our students who qualified for Regional Swimming Carnival in Shepperton.  Well done to Mac for placing 2nd in Buttferfly and to our relay teams placing 4th.

We have a great squad of students cheering and supporting each other through their swim legs at each carnival.  Shoutout to parents and carers who undertake the commitment to getting them to the event.
