RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Last Thursday, we as a school promoted and celebrated Harmony Day by wearing a splash of orange, attending Mass and engaging in some fun organised activities after recess.

We are so blessed to have such an extraordinary parish priest in Fr Michael. He consistently brightens our day with his kind genuine words of praise and engages with our children in a fun loving connecting way. Fr Michael led us in the Commitment/ Harmony Day Mass and very briefly wore a splash of orange. During mass, our Year 6 students voiced their commitment to; carry out special responsibilities, be a positive influence on their fellow students and to work to the best of their ability in leading our school environment where everyone feels respected, valued and safe.

This week, on Tuesday and Thursday at 4:00pm and 6:00pm some of our students from Year 2 and Year 5 will be receiving their Sacrament of Reconciliation. This special event will take place at St Mary’s Church and we ask that you keep the candidates in your prayers.
