Graduation Information

Graduation

Date: Wednesday 8 December

Time: Professional photos available from 5pm (voluntary). Students are required to be at 1330 at 5.30pm. Ceremony to begin at 6pm sharp and to continue to approximately 7.15m. Students are then invited to stay and celebrate independently with their peers before being picked up by their families at 9pm. During this time teachers will be present to supervise students.

The Duncan family has kindly offered to take professional photos of our graduating students and their families. A note has been sent home asking families if they would like to take up the offer, there will be a cost associated with these professional photos.

Cost to Students:

The Fun Fair is our main fundraiser for this fantastic event. The event cost is $50 for each graduating student. Payment can now be made through the Compass Events page.

Ceremony:

The ceremony will go for approximately one and a half hours and will involve speeches, awards and a few special performances from students. During this time our local members of Parliament will present both the Endeavour Award and the Aston Shield. 

Ticket information:

There is no need to purchase tickets for family members attending the Graduation ceremony. As we have the benefit of a large venue, 1330 are happy to accommodate as many guests as our graduating students would like to invite. This does mean that seating on the night will not be allocated.

Dress Code:

Students are encouraged to dress appropriately for this special event. As graduating students will be performing and walking up and down stairs we encourage appropriate footwear.

Post Ceremony Celebration for Students:

At the conclusion of the ceremony we will be having a light stand up dinner for the students that will involve sandwich points, warm finger food and water/soft drinks. This will be followed by some time to dance and celebrate with their peers before being picked up by their families at the conclusion of the event at 9pm. Students will not be allowed to leave the venue until a parent/carer has signed them out at the end of the event.

Parking:

Parking around 1330 is limited. We encourage families to park across the road at the shops and cross at the lights.
