Australian Maths Competition
Dear students and families
The Australian Mathematics Competition will be held on Thursday, 1st August
The competition aims to be accessible to all students from Year 3 to 12, not just the mathematically gifted. There is an emphasis on problem solving, a valuable life skill, and the questions are designed to be fun.
The entry fee is $6.50 and each student will be provided with a certificate and detailed report showing how they performed on each problem.
If you would like your child to enter the competition, please sign the form sent home and include $6.50 in a sealed envelope clearly marked with your child’s name on it. Please return both form and money to Mrs. Kerr by Friday 14th June, 2019.
