Community Garden News

We have been having a great time in the garden and have seen some wonderful team work. Some worked well together to weed the overgrown grasses out of the mulch and to build structures from plants like mini houses. It was great to see the creativity as they planned and constructed from plant prunings.

We received some great news this week thanks to Lisa Occhietti who applied for a Garden Grant through Victorian Schools Garden Program. Where every school is a garden and every garden is a classroom. The amount is for $500.00 and we look forward to using these funds to grow our garden program to reach more people in our community. Watch this space!
