Netball

Message from Adrienne Harris

Another fortnight in isolation and another 2 weeks of preseason executed by the ever determined and motivated bunch of legends from Crib Point Football Netball Club.

I am so proud of the effort the girls are going to in order to make sure they are maintaining their fitness and skills over this period of time. We are committed to the Déjà vu Preseason Program and ensuring that whenever we get the green light to go back to training and playing- we will be ready!

We are now in phase two of the program and are edging our way back into some more intense sessions – especially sprint base work. The girls are getting the kilometres in their legs and building strength.

It has been great to see the girls standing up and initiating some mental health and well-being activities, that are keeping the girls connected over the social media platforms. These inclusive activities and creative ideas are ensuring that as well as training the girls are still having a laugh together.

We will continue to work hard behind the scenes and are excited to get together once this is all over to train and play.

A shout out to all the people who have contributed to the community initiative with providing meals to people in Crib Point. It has benefitted so many community members and we are really proud of all the volunteers.
