Message from Steve Hamill

I hope everyone is well and coping with the current restrictions in place. Since the last newsletter, not much has changed in regards to when the season ( if at all) is starting . Players and coaches have been communicating in a few different ways to stay connected , sharing training sessions and some more light hearted information to keep the playing group connected. I have been really pleased with how this has been embraced by all and would encourage players to continue to share what they are doing . Even if it makes one other persons day a little better, it’s worth it. Bruce Mesley has been providing the players with some specific training drills and tasks to do to maintain a level of fitness and am hoping that all take the opportunity to follow these sessions.

Over the next month I think it will become a little clearer on what the rest of the season will look like. Until then , keep working on maintaining your fitness and stay connected with each other . Don’t be afraid to reach out to someone who may be struggling a little bit or jump on the front foot if you need a chat .

Take care

Hammer.
