I CAN Mentor Program

McClelland College participated in a 4 week online Mentor Program for a small group of students across Years 7-9.  I CAN Network empower young people with an ‘I CAN’ attitude providing an Autistic-led online group mentoring program for Autistic and neurodivergent young people with a safe space to connect, share interests and discuss common experiences.  We look forward to working with the I CAN Network again in 2023 and for our students who participated, thank you for being excellent ambassadors for our College and participating in this program.

Dungeons and Dragons Lunchtime Club

In 2022, something exciting happened amongst our student community! A Dungeon and Dragon community was formed.  It started as an interschool D & D excursion where a select group of students travelled to Carrum Downs Secondary College to play and interact with other students from other schools under the supervision of D & D extraordinaire, Luke Maccora.  It is now a lunchtime group that meets regularly each week to play with other student D & D enthusiasts. A big thank you to Stephanie Trott who has helped coordinate and lead the lunchtime program.  If you are interested in joining, please see Mr Maccora for more information.
