Outdoor Ed Camp

By Natasha Eshuis

Last week we had three groups of Year 9 and 10 students hiking and exploring the Great Ocean Walk as part of their Outdoor Education course.

All the students packed, carried and prepared their own meals, tents and equipment.

It was a fun filled trip with majestic views of the coastline and bushland, plenty of wildlife close enough to hand feed, challenges of fitness and perseverance and lots of laughter and memories.

Well done to all the students on their tenacity and hard work. We pray they have developed memories for a lifetime and come away in awe of God's great handiwork along Victoria's edge.

Year 7 and 8 students also camped out at school late last term as an introduction to Outdoor Ed. This included: cooking on a trangia, night walks for animals and of course a fire to toast marshmallows.

Have a look at some of the photos from our trip!
