Design Thinking:

This term, Students between Grades 3 and 6 have been learning about the Design Thinking process. This unit aimed to develop the confidence of students as designers and problem solvers. Students have developed spatial awareness and built their confidence to communicate design ideas.  Further, they developed their understanding of how technology is and can be used to develop designed solutions for real-world problems. 

Students have completed over 10,000 designs using Makers Empire, including jewellery, houses, sustainable buildings, volcanos and represented their understanding of the earth’s core in 3D to name a few.

Wanted: Second hand Lego

If anyone has any Lego that they no longer require, please consider donating this to the STEAM room.  We are looking for all shapes, sizes and colours for a fun Lego Master’s style activity later in the year.
