Premiers' Reading Challenge

We are just ‘Wild about Reading’ at HEPS!

The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge (VPRC) is a fantastic initiative from the Government; encouraging students, parents and schools to work together. It focuses on recognising the importance of reading for literacy development.

The VPRC has commenced, and students will be able to include books they have read as of 1st March 2023. 

You can register your child/children via the following link. 

School students and parents: taking part in the Premiers' Reading Challenge | Victorian Government

Classroom teachers have organised for your child's username and password to be placed into their Student Journals.

The challenge involves:

Foundation - level 2: reading or ‘experiencing’ 30 books (20+ from the booklist)

Level 3 - level 6: reading 15 books (10+ from the booklist)

Regular updates will be announced during Monday assemblies, via the school newsletter and on the school Facebook page.
