Future Funding Grant

Our AMP Phase 1 Report for our $13.1 million Future Funding Build, has been delivered to the Department of Education. Next process will be AMP Phase 2 where a project group  oversees the building project and appoints an architect. *** A Project Control Group (PCG) will be established with representation from:

the school + the Region + VSBA’s Project Delivery or Major Projects (chair). This group will select the architect who will design the school build. Below is the cost breakdown for our $13.1 million dollar grant.

Yarning Circle

We have completed the first part of the ‘Yarning Circle’ build with local earth movers Tim McClure and bobcat owner Damon Edwards supplying materials and completing the path build. The next phase will be getting cut rock and red gum seats in place. With the blessing of the local Aboriginal Land Council from Horsham, we will look to November to have an opening celebration and invite other local schools and community members to join us.

Bendigo Bank

Just reiterating a huge thank you to our local community bank who has supported us for the 20 years they have been open. In the last financial year they provided money to buy our school production sound system $3,000, two scholarships at $1,500 each and they have just contributed $2,500 to the college’s Energy Break Through Vehicle Challenge. Amazing the support you can get in a small community!
