Facilities Report
Very exciting times ahead, the planting of large garden beds and new lawn areas, along with the new synthetic Basketball and Tennis courts and 40 additional car parks the college has never looked better and will be ready to go in the new term.
We have now completed the bulk of our major works which means a lot less disruptions and better access to our amazing facilities, but it doesn’t end there, our intention is make Lyndale a destination school of choice, our plan is to keep improving on what we have, to ensure our students get the best opportunities going forward.
In the second half of the year, we will be installing 2 new shade sails, one in the open courtyard to enhance our existing shade area and a new cantilever style over the library deck turning this area into an incredible study or an outdoor class area.
Our portables will move from down the back of the school up to the rear of the library area, making it easily accessible and to become more inclusive part of the school.
New digital signage will be installed allowing us to spread vital communication about what’s happening in the college.
A new perimeter fence that will not only improve security but will complement the new look buildings and ground.
Major upgrades planned for the stadium to give its internals a much-needed facelift and provide facilities in-line with the rest of the college.
Finally, a new VR technology department will be created making Lyndale the only government school in Victoria with cutting-edge expertise to develop our students as future leaders.
