Principal's Message

One week to go before the holidays! 

Student reports will be finalised and uploaded into the Sentral Parent Portal by 4:00pm tomorrow afternoon. If you require a hard copy of your child's report, please contact the school office and staff will ensure a copy goes home with your child.

Parent/teacher interview appointment bookings will close this Friday 23rd June at 3:45pm. If you still require an appointment, please access the Sentral Parent Portal to book a time. If you are unable to access the Parent Portal to make an appointment, please contact the school office. The office staff will help you with the appointment booking. Teachers are looking forward to talking to you all about your child's learning progress.

I have had a few reports of students not talking respectfully to one another or playing safely across the road at the park in the afternoons. Please remind your children about the importance of being respectful to others and ensure they are playing safely. 

Bathurst Council Parking Rangers contacted me during the week regarding their patrol outside the school last Friday afternoon. Please ensure you are not parking or picking up from the bus bay area. Please only parking in allocated parking spaces. The Parking Rangers have informed me that they will be frequently monitoring parking at Eglinton.

Boys Basketball - What a nail-biter! Down by 2 points at half time the boys played some great basketball to claw back the lead and win the game 41 to 35. Well done Boys! The next game for the boys will be against Cooerwull PS early next term.

You can check your child's attendance rate on the Sentral Parents App. Click on their photo, select 'Student Details' and click on 'Attendance'. Our expected student attendance rate is above 95%. To maintain an attendance rate of above 90% a student should have no more than 5 days off a term.
