Student Leadership
I am loving the enthusiasm of our Year 6 Leadership Groups at St Michael's . They are so excited to be involved in implementing ideas within their school community. Student voice helps to increase engagement and build positive relationships. When students believe they are respected and their views are valued, they feel like they belong and feel physically and emotionally safe.
This week, the leaders were asked to organise an assembly with limited notice and they did so with maturity and efficiency. I know Mrs Herbison and myself are excited to hear more ideas and provide opportunities for our leaders to show their leadership and creativity in the terms to come.
