Our Year 5 and 6 Volvo Ocean Lovers sculptures are on display at George Place,

Sydney.

 

Exhibition 

 

Underwater Earth and Ocean Lovers Festival in conjunction with Justin Miller Art presents Creative Activism, an exhibition that showcases how art has been used to raise awareness, unite a community and to make an impact, as seen in this diverse and poignant exhibition. This show includes, Litterarty, a Schools Waste-Art annual Competition for the Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival and a selection of sculptural dresses from Beach Couture: A Haute Mess by Marina DeBris. In addition to this, Out of Sight, Out of Mind returns to George Place with full VR activation and an exclusive discount for George Place tenants to purchase the artworks and support the wonderful work taken out by Underwater Earth.

Young Archie Finalists

 

This year there were over 3000 entries in the Young Archie Portrait Competition. 

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the competition and although they are not finalists their efforts were appreciated. We will continue to submit artworks to the competition each year.

Here a few of the finalists.

Youth Art Prize 

 

Students in Year 6 are working on the competition in art classes.

Students in Years 2-5 can enter the competition and students that were interested have been given the flyer. 

They can work at home and bring their artwork to school to work on at lunchtime 1-1.40 in the art room on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the next few weeks.
