Kindergarten

Jacqueline Pribilovics

After our daily phonics lesson, Kindergarten students work in small groups to practise reading words, sentences and stories using all the sounds and letters they have been taught. While the teacher is working with a group, the rest of the class work on an activity to consolidate what they have been learning. This may be a spelling activity sheet, a game to practise their tricky words, a craft activity or more practice using a decodable reader.
