School of Rock performances

Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company’s 2023 musical School of Rock is currently playing at the Forge Theatre and Arts Hub. There are 3 performances left this weekend, including a Sunday matinee. 

School of Rock is a two-hour, two-act musical based on the hit movie.  It follows Dewey Finn, played by Kyle Mandry, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school.  How he turns a class of straight-A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band has to be seen to be believed!  With a cast of over 30 - including 17 local schoolchildren – this is a show not to be missed.  The highlight of the show is watching our young rock stars playing their music live on stage.  The youngest member of the band is 10 and the oldest 13 – buy your tickets now to watch the rock stars of the future.
