Well done on a fantastic game, Mackenzie and congratulations to fellow team players—and SMC alumni—Amy Prokopiec, Georgia Alomes, Maddie Lamb, Bellah Parker and Claire Ransom. The girls have enormous talent and we know they will do the club and Tasmania proud for the remainder of the 2022 season.

Emma Grubb (Year 10), who competed at the Tasmanian State Track and Field Championships held at the Domain Athletics Centre from 18-20 February.

Abigail McLennan (Year 2), who bravely parted with her long locks in the name of charity.

Abigail has been growing her hair since she was four years old with the goal to raise money and eventually donate her hair to children who have lost theirs due to illness or treatment.

During the recent school holidays, Abigail had her first haircut and donated 40cm of hair! She has raised more than $1,800 which is going towards Hair with Heart – Variety the Children's Charity's national hair donation and fundraising program. Well done, Abigail. The College is very proud of you.
