Urgent Recall of Epipens

Parents/carers are advised that the Department of Education has been informed of an urgent recall of EpiPens, which are used for the treatment of allergic emergencies (anaphylaxis). The following batches of EpiPen 300 microgram are being recalled:

Batch number       Expiry

5FA665                   April 2017

5FA6651                 April 2017

5FA6652                 April 2017

5FA6653                 April 2017

You can find this information on the box and on the EpiPen. What to do:

Why are some EpiPens being recalled?

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and Alphapharm are recalling four batches of EpiPen 300 microgram adrenaline injectors, which may contain defective parts that could potentially cause the EpiPen to fail to activate, or require more force than usual to activate.

St Vincent de Paul Easter Raffle –

Supporting Micah House

As Easter draws near, we are preparing the prizes for our annual Easter Raffle, which raises much needed funds for Micah House.

To prepare our raffle prizes we are calling on the support of all our families to continue to donate chocolate eggs, confectionery, gift bags, boxes and baskets to our raffle. Last year, we were fortunate to have so many donations that resulted in 40 raffle prizes, with your support, we are hopeful of having as many this year.

Students have been given their Raffle Tickets and are encouraged to sell these for $1 each. We ask you to promptly return these, once sold, to the College Office.

We thank you for your support of this wonderful opportunity to support the less fortunate in our community this Lenten season.
