Year 10 Work Experience - Monday 26 – Friday 30 June 2017
Year 10 students will be undertaking work experience in the last week of Term 2 2017.
This is a great opportunity for students to explore future work possibilities and gain important work skills.
Students are currently preparing for this placement by researching options and contacting employers. Many students have already organized their placement. It is expected that all students organize their own work experience and make the initial contact with an employer. This helps to develop confidence and communication skills. Most employers will expect the students to make initial contact and need to be given ample warning. It is expected that all students have their work experience organized and paperwork completed by Week 5 of next term.
I would encourage all parents/guardians to have a conversation with your child about their progress with this.
