Carroll House Day
Carroll House Day
Carroll House day was celebrated on Friday 24 March with a huge cake stall at recess and Mater Dei's Got Talent at lunch.
The Year 12 students sold many items at the cake stall and there wasn't much left at the end of recess. We would like to thank all the families who contributed to the cake stall with yummy treats to sell.
At lunch was the annual Mater Dei's Got Talent show which showcases the talents of our Mater Dei students. We had some amazing singers, dancers, musicians and comedians.
1st prize went to joint winners George Bolitho with his Jokes and Millie Owen and Ted Toohey- Templeton singing and playing guitar, 3rd prize went to Holli Amos and Lily Jenkins with singing and playing the guitar.
We would like to thank the community for the generous prizes they donated from Alison Music, Forum 6 cinemas, Wagga Bowling and Entertainment Centre, Wendy's ice cream, McDonalds restaurants, the Mater Dei canteen and the Pear Tree Cafe at Mater Dei.
We raised $1248 which will go towards the Catholic Mission and is an outstanding effort from the Mater Dei community and Carroll House is very grateful for everyone that supported the day.
