NAPLAN Update - Grade 3 and 5
Dear parents, carers and families,
On the 24th of March (next Thursday), students from Year 3 and 5 will complete a practice NAPLAN test. Year 5 students will sit a Writing test and Year 3 students will sit an Omnibus test. To complete these assessments, students require headphones and we ask that they be kept at school until the practice tests are completed.
These tests are compulsory sessions that students must complete to familiarise themselves with the new online platform and to also ensure that the online systems have the capacity to handle all school completing it across the country.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank:
- Our Year 3-6 teachers and Team Leaders
- Evelyn, our IT Support and
- Megan, our Business Manager for all the work you have done thus far in organising the administration of these assessments.
I know our students will approach these practice assessments with optimism, resilience and the knowledge that their years at CJC have prepared them well.
