Recipe: Sanitarium Weetbix trifle.
Serves: 4
     

Ingredients

 

Quantity Allergies and food intolerance notes:
   Common AllergensAlternative Ingredients
  • Frozen blueberries 
1Cup   
  • Natural yoghurt 
1Cup  Dairy Coconut yoghurt 
  • Weetbix  
4Units Gluten, WheatGluten free Weetbix  
  • Granola to garnish 
100Grams   
  • Toasted flaked and desiccated coconut to garnish.
20Grams   
      
      

Procedure

 

  • Step 1: Using a small saucepan, heat the blueberries and reduce for a couple minutes until thick.
  • Step 2: Take a glass (approximately 270ml) and start to layer your trifle, starting with ½ crushed Weet-Bix™ followed     by a spoonful of yogurt, then the blueberry mix, granola and coconut. Repeating once again.

 

  • Step 3: Finish with a layer of granola and coconut.

 

  • Step 4: Allow to sit for a few minutes to allow the Weet-Bix™ to soften before eating.
