On March 18th 2022, five members of the Good Shepherd Tennis Team competed in their first competition of the year. The competition was held at Gladeswood Tennis Reserve, Mulgrave. 

At 9:30 the competition started with the kids from Good Shepherd playing members of St Leonard’s Primary School, Mulgrave Primary School and St Justin’s Primary School. The games of singles lasted for ten minutes each and the players were required to keep score themselves. Every student played 9 games each. Two Good Shepherd boys, Alex Karkaos and Cooper Bartlett, made it through to the finals with Alex coming in second and Cooper coming in third place.

For the first round of the year, Good Shepherd did very well and all of the students who participated were greatly praised. It was a fun and exciting experience for the Good Shepherd Tennis Team!
