ECO Club

Sunday was Clean Up Australia Day! We hope you managed to get out and do your bit for our community.

Megan King, our eco coordinator here at school teamed up with some students on Friday to make sure our school grounds were litter free. Thanks for taking the time to make sure our school is in tip top shape.

Last year we asked teaching staff to collect all the markers and pencils that were destined for landfill so we could make sure they were recycled.

We managed to save a big tub load of markers that were actually still in working order. We will be donating these to kids who have been affected by the floods. They will be sent up along with other donations Tuesday next week.

The rest will be taken into office works who have a recycling program.

In an effort to reduce our waste here at OGPS, we hope to collect ALL markets and pencils and do the same.

If you have these items at home and would like to recycle them here is some more information on where, what and how >
