After School Basketball Program

Throughout this Term 1, Basketball Victoria has been engaging some of our students in an after school basketball program. This after school basketball program ‘Outlet’ provides young people the opportunity to enjoy basketball in a non-pressure environment. With a top-level coaching available to work on their skills or just enjoy some fun basketball themed games.

Outlet also exposes young people to better themselves off the court through sessions on leadership, employability, cultural identity, mental health and more delivered by partner organisations with further opportunities to be pursued in other fantastic programs.

This program is open to any student attending our college regardless of skill level.

Any student interested in participating in this program can see Mukasa for further information.

Presentation by Dandenong Proactive Policing Unit

On Monday 28th March 2022, students in year 8 and 9 were invited to attend a presentation which was presented by Dandenong Youth Resource Office. For many years now, the Victorian Police has released a fun, educational resource to help police engage with young people and teach them about who they are and what they do. The main purpose of this presentation was to help our students better understand the role of the Victorian Police in our Greater Dandenong community, aspects of the law, personal safety and cyber safety. Throughout this presentation, students had the opportunity to ask questions on the different topics that were presented on that day.
