P&F Annual General Meeting - 23 February 

The P&F's key meeting of the year will include:

• Hearing reports of the Association's activities during the year.
• Election of office bearers -  Executive;  President, Vice-President, Treasurer & Secretary
• Sub-Committees;  Pastoral care, Second Hand Uniform Shop, Co-Ordinators for Working Bee, Lawn Mowing,  Year Book, Book Club & Sports
• Decisions such as changes to policy affecting the P&F’s constitution.

All Executive and sub-committee positions will be made vacant and an election held for new office-bearers.  Several parents have held roles on the Executive and sub-committees for a number of years and will not be standing for re-election.    This will create the following opportunities for parents to make a contribution to St Joseph's via the P&F.

Fund Raising Coordinators - raising funds to provide the school with important items such as library books, sports equipment, etc.,.  The P&F runs a number of events such as the Mothers Day Stall throughout the school year.  This role would suit two or more parents/carers so the workload can be shared.

Secretary -  preparing meeting agendas and minutes, writing messages for the school newsletter, dealing with correspondence, etc.,.

Vice President -  supports the general running of the P&F Executive.  This is an ideal role for someone new to the Executive to learn how the P&F functions. 

The current holders of the positions will provide full handovers to the incoming volunteers.  They will also be available throughout 2022 to provide support and advice.

St Joseph's P&F has a proud history of parents stepping up each year to take on a role.  The P&F will warmly welcome any parent who is considering joining the parent body.

The AGM will commence at 7:00pm Term 1 General Meeting via Zoom.  If a parent/carer would like to add an item to the agenda of the General Meeting, please submit the item to sjbpandf@gmail.com by 22 February 2022.

If you are only able to attend one P&F meeting in 2022 - this is the one!  New parents to the school will find it particularly interesting and worthwhile.
