General News 

Welcome back to the 2022 school year.  We are excited to provide you all with a year of St Joey's learning and fun.  Today you will receive an envelope with the following paperwork enclosed.  Please fill in the forms and return them to school this week to enable us to have up to date information for your children. 

Media Consent Forms - 1 per child

Each year we are required to send out Media Consent forms for each student. In this form we seek your consent to make photographs/films/sound recordings of your child available to the public and to include photographs/films/sound recordings of your child in our promotional materials.

Travel Arrangement Forms - 1 per family

Please fill in the travel arrangement forms for you children  as soon as possible.  This way we can make sure that all students are going home as you intend them to. 

Verification Report - 1 per child

This report contains important information about your child.  Please read through it carefully, make any changes necessary, sign and date it and send it back through to the office for processing.

Medication Forms - 1 per child

If you child requires regular medication at school, please fill in the medication form.  If not, please keep the form just in case you require us to administer medication at different times throughout the year for eg:  Panadol for an ongoing toothache.

Internet agreement forms for Kindy, new students and students beginning Y3 - Primary. 

PT&F Fundraising Calendar

Please volunteer to help with fundraising for this year.  We are looking forward to beginning our Kitchen Garden experience for the students and we need funds to be able to make this happen for them. 

Swimming permission notes - 1 per child

The swimming carnival is set down for the 10th of February pending current COVID guildelines so to avoid a rush closer to the date we are sending out the notes in readiness in the hope that we can hold the event. 

Swimming nominations - 1 per child

Swimming helpers note - 1 per family

Compass is your one stop shop so please use it for the following applications;

• Explain absences within 7 days - this is a legal requirement
• Update all contact details: address, phone numbers, email addresses
• Stay in touch - find your newsletters and newsfeed items easily on your home page

10c Bottle, Can and Juice Box Donation Drive

Our bottle collection is back in full swing for 2022! 

Each Wednesday, students are invited to bring in their cans, bottles, cartons and juice boxes in a plastic bag and drop them into the collection bin which sits near the front gate. Please check each item to make sure they have the 10c label and are eligble for donating. 

Mrs Hofman is proud to announce that through our efforts in 2021, we have raised $242.50 so far! This is an amazing effort - Thank you to everyone who donated bottles last year!
