Our Wonderful 2022 School Captains 

Year 11 Biology

Year 11 Biology students went back in time to year 7 to construct cell models. In year 7 students model animal and plant cells to compare. In year 11 this gets taken to the next level as the features of cells, organelles, are investigated in greater detail to allow students to understand the processes occurring in cells and why cells from different organisms have different organelles. Science often relies on models to communicate ideas and to convey deeper understanding for concepts that are difficult to see. The models are on display downstairs in G block.
