Bayside Dance Off Fever at BRPS! 

The dancing has been happening left, right and centre at BRPS for the last fortnight. We have been immensely impressed at how sensational the dances have been!! Some generous teachers have been volunteering their lunch times to enjoy the performances along with around 100 students every single audition day. 

The auditions will wrap up on Friday November 30th for the Bayside Dance Off. We will announce our winners at assembly on the 30th! The winners from each group will represent our school against other Bayside schools on Friday December 7th at the finals held at Hampton Primary School.

Congratulations to all of our performers who put in so much time and effort into their dances and costumes. We hope you loved your performance and the loud cheers from the audience.

All classes are busy learning their Christmas carols for this year's carols night on December 13th.

Year 6 have a special treat in store for us this year at the carols night. What could it be?! 

Choir performances in December

The Compass event is up for the O'Brien Arena choir excursion on December 14th with a run down of the day. Thank you to those who have paid and consented. If you are yet to consent, please see the friendly staff at the front office to provide payment and consent. 

BLACK ROCK HOUSE CAROLS

Black Rock House carols is on next week! The junior choir and choir are combining to perform together at this event. Our 2 festive pieces this year are "Where shall we go this Christmas" and "Aussie Jingle Bells".

Choir and junior choir information: 

Date: Wednesday, December 5th

Time: 6:30-8:30pm 

Venue: Black Rock House. Ebden Ave, Black Rock. 

Choir arrival time: 6:20pm 

Uniform: Please wear school uniform with a splash of Christmas, such as reindeer ears, elf hats, Santa hats or a white beard! 

BLACK ROCK CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 

The choir and junior choir will also perform together at the Black Rock Christmas Festival on Friday December 7th. 

The main stage will be set up between the roundabout at Balcombe Rd and Karrakatta St. 

Choir and junior choir information: 

Date: Wednesday, December 5th

Time: On stage 5:45-6:00pm  

Venue: Bluff Rd main stage. 

Choir arrival time: 5:30pm at the rear of the stage on Bluff Rd. 

Uniform: Please wear school uniform with a splash of Christmas, such as reindeer ears, elf hats, Santa hats or a white beard! 

You'll be able to spot Mr Murnane in his elf hat and Christmas t-shirt, ready for a fun performance. 

Choir and junior choir will rehearse together on Tuesday December 4th 1:15-1:45pm in preparation for the 2 performances next week.
