End of Year Exam Arrangements
All TCE students should now have a copy of the TCE Guide to the Exams. This Guide contains all necessary instructions for students in relation to the exams and it should be read carefully. It is particularly important for students to be familiar with what can and cannot be taken into exams, for example, TASC are explicit in relation to types of calculators, drink bottle and pencil case specifications. We wish to stress that we are not the organisers of the external exams. The Office of Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification (TASC) is the organising body and is responsible for the conduct and supervision of the exams. A reminder to students to bring pink enrolment slips to all exams.
Students should assemble in the Mark Curtis Foyer NO LATER than 8.45 for morning exams and 1.15 pm for afternoon exams. Latecomers will not be allowed extra time. If your child is unable to take an exam because of sickness, parents should ring the School as early as possible. A special medical certificate must be completed by a doctor, signed and dated on the day of the missed exam and forwarded to TASC as soon as possible. These certificates are contained in the student guide to the exams.
Students receiving special consideration have been emailed details about their individual arrangements.
Students can wear appropriate plain clothes during the exam period.
