Surviving VCE Study Sessions – Years 11 and 12

This term some of our Year 11 and 12 VCE students have been participating in study sessions in the wellbeing space during lunchtime on Thursdays. This is continuing over the next few weeks and topics such as time management, maintaining motivation, relaxation and mindfulness, healthy sleeping habits, self-care and getting support are being covered.

Additional information on study skills and advice can be found at the Youth Central and Beyond Blue websites:

ZIIMUSIC/180 program – Years 7, 8 and 9

ZIIMUSIC performed for our students on 25th May during lunchtime and encouraged students and teachers to dance and sing along. ZIIMUSIC is an inspirational young African rapper from Melbourne and has been performing for a number of years in Victoria. Students are able to participate in the 180 program on Fridays during lunchtime.

National Reconciliation Week – 27th May – 3rd June

The theme for this year’s National Reconciliation Week is “Don’t Keep History a Mystery: Learn. Share. Grow.” Australians are encouraged to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories and to share that knowledge with others. These dates commemorate two significant events in Australia’s history – the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision.

More information can be found at: https://www.reconciliation.org.au/national-reconciliation-week/
