Positive Behaviour Support

Another 3000 Acknowledgements!

We sure are flying high at Kilsyth! Within such a quick time frame....5 weeks.... our students have demonstrated their positive behaviours and been acknowledged for this.  When showing Excellence, Resilience and Respect students are explicitly told what expectation they have met and what value it represents.  We are so proud of our students for continuing to develop their social and personal skills. We are also proud of our staff (including casual relief teachers - CRT's and student teachers). Staff are well informed of our whole school PBS approach and they embrace it with open arms.

The benefits of whole school PBS is that our PBS team collate, evaluate and use data to inform decisions within the school.  The team meets every fortnight to discuss what our data indicates and the best teaching lessons we implement in classrooms. 

CELEBRATION DAY!

Next Friday 24th May we will have our whole school celebration day.  To link in with Education week, students can come dressed up as what they want to be or do when they are older!  The theme for Education week 2019 is CELEBRATING CAREERS!   It will be great to see our students dressed up and you never know what the teachers will come dressed as for the day....!

We are going to have a WHOLE SCHOOL lunch at 12.45pm next Friday outside and follow on to an activity about what students aspire to be in the future.
