CBA School Banking Account Opening

The Commonwealth Bank will be holding a school banking account opening day on Wednesday 16th March in the school Library, from 8.30-9am.

Harmony Day

Tuesday 22nd March

Every year we celebrate Harmony Day at our school:  it is one of the most important events on our calendar!  It’s a day when we celebrate Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

The day will begin in the gym for a special assembly and parade at 9.05am.  All students and parents can dress in national costume or the colour orange.  It’s always so exciting to see the myriad of colours and styles representing countries from all around the world!

The students will participate in multi-aged, multicultural activities over the course of the day.  Parents are most welcome to attend, and assist!  Please see your child’s classroom teacher for more information.

Students are asked to bring their own lunch that represents their cultural background. 

They won’t be sharing their food, but will have an opportunity to talk about what they have brought, what it is called, what it’s made from and what country it originates from.

Please join us for this special day!  We would love to see many, many families at the assembly in the morning, and lots of people assisting in the activities for the day!
