2-24 + 3-20

Science in 2-24

During our Science lessons, 2-24 have been learning about the rain cycle and how we can live a sustainable life to ensure we look after the planet.

The Rain Cycle

We have learnt about how the rain cycle occurs, made predictions about the effect rain has on different surfaces and carried out experiments to test our hypotheses!

The Moon

We were also lucky to have a visit from ‘The Maths and Science teacher’ as part of ‘National Science Week’. She shared with us important information about the moon and the Apollo 11 mission that landed on the moon. We  also learnt about life aboard the International Space Station and where all the waste ends up!

3-20 Camp

In week 3 of this term, most of 3-20 headed to Arrabri Lodge for the experience of a lifetime.
